Website Analytics helps you understand how visitors discover and interact with your marketing site, landing pages, and public-facing content.

Acquisition Dashboard

The pre-built Acquisition dashboard shows:

  • Geographic Distribution — Map view of visitor locations
  • Top Entry Pages — Which pages attract the most visitors

Custom Reports

Create website-focused reports from the Reports tab:

  1. Click New Report

  2. Choose a report type:

    • Traffic Sources — Breakdown by channel, campaign, or referrer
    • Page Analytics — Views, time on page, bounce rates
    • Countries — Geographic distribution
    • Line/Bar/Pie Charts — Custom visualizations
  3. Configure filters (date range, traffic source, country, etc.)

  4. Save and add to your dashboard

Context Setting

To track website analytics separately from product usage, set the context when initializing:

overcentric.init('YOUR_PROJECT_ID', {
  context: 'website'
});

This ensures website visits are tracked separately from in-app product usage. See Context Tracking for more details.

Tracking Signups

Use the reserved $signup event to track conversions:

});

This populates the signup metrics in your Acquisition dashboard automatically.
